The city’s chefs will be given a taste of Delhi once the city’s capital is completed, with the chefs of all five boroughs set to converge on the capital to discuss the city and its cuisine.
In a bid to make sure everyone has a taste, the chefs will assemble an all-star team from all over the city, including from the national capital, and be on hand to take suggestions for dishes.
The list of chefs who will be joining the chef’s panel will include:Pappu Rani, chef of Chana Masala, who will also be taking the helm of the Indian cuisine department at Nalanda University of Agriculture.
The menu will include a blend of Indian dishes including dosa, chana masala, pulao, tamarind and korma.
Sushil Kumar Mishra, chef at Poshakuri Restaurant, will be joined by a team of local chefs from the state of Maharashtra.
The chefs will also have the opportunity to speak to visitors about their favourite dishes and share tips and tricks on their favourite food.
Katarina Chahal, head chef of the Kishor restaurant, will also lead the chefs in the panel.
The panel will also include Ravi Chandrasekaran, the managing director of the Delhi Tourism Development Authority, who is also a member of the National Capital Commission.
