The latest version of the next-generation iPhone, which is due to be released on Wednesday, is set to include a redesigned home button.
According to reports, the redesign will also be a significant upgrade to the Apple Watch, which was launched in 2014 with a similar design.
The Watch has been plagued with issues since launch, with many users complaining that it lacked connectivity and charging capabilities, leading to widespread shortages and complaints.
The new design is set for a release in two to three weeks, according to Apple.
A software update will also come along with the new phone.
In a blog post on Friday, Apple said that the new iPhone 5 will be able to “play music on the go” and “take advantage of multitasking on the Go”.
