BRIAN KILPATRICK: There are so many people in Hollywood that have been doing this movie for so long, and they want to have a moment.
They want to show us that there are so much joy in this.
So they put on this thing called a movie and they show us this.
I’m just really disappointed in the filmmakers.
They didn’t know that I was going to be so disappointed.
I have this thing about this movie, I just think it’s a little over-the-top.
And I was disappointed in it.
They’re trying to make it a little more exciting.
This is the most fun I’ve ever had in my life.
And they’re putting me through this and trying to give me a little bit of that, too.
The way that the script was written, there’s this moment where he’s at the restaurant and he’s being a little jealous of the way this guy is eating.
It’s a really funny moment.
And then the next scene, they’re doing a scene with the chef.
They put him in this little kitchen with this chef.
And the chef says, “If you eat like that, you’ll never be a chef again.”
And I’m like, “Are you serious?”
He’s like, [laughs] “Yeah, well, you know what, I will.”
And it’s not like that scene was a bad one, it was just one that I thought was a little out of place.
I had been told that it was a very special moment for me.
And when I saw it, I was like, Oh, I know.
But it’s still very much a movie.
And it didn’t feel like a movie for me to watch.
And there was so much tension in it and there was a lot of tension.
So I had a lot more fun than I had in the other two movies.
I was very excited.
The story of the chef was really about me, too, and it felt like it was really a tribute to my father and his cooking.
It was very much like my father.
We are all very much in the kitchen.
But he’s not the chef that I grew up with.
He’s a real gentleman.
And his cooking is amazing.
It is the perfect balance.
And when he’s doing the cooking, I’m not in the room, and I don’t have the time, and there are no other people in the whole restaurant.
And so I was really like, This is my father’s favorite dish, and the fact that this is my dad’s favorite chef is amazing to me.
I really thought it was going in the right direction, but I’m a little disappointed in how the script went.
As a kid, my dad would come home and sit at the kitchen table.
And he would sit and he would look at the food and he was like a little kid, like, How can this be?
But then he’d go, It’s really good.
And we’d have a big discussion.
And you know, I dont know how to cook, but he’d talk about it and I would get the sense that he was trying to teach me a thing or help me with something.
But he’s a very, very special person.
And this was his special thing.
So it was kind of a tribute.
It was my dad.
[on how he got the part of the waiter] The waiter, its his idea.
He had his ideas.
He wanted to do this movie and I was just like, No, I have to get this job.
I cant do this.
He was just a little girl.
He really loved this job and I love this job, so I said, “Why donm we do it?”
He said, Why?
And I said I don?t want to do it. And thats when I really started to learn about the world of the movie industry.
And as a child, I used to go and see movies and they were all really good and I thought, “Oh, I can do that.” And now Im a big movie fan, so it was nice to be able to have this experience and to have it be a tribute and to help me learn about what was going on.
There is this little movie that is about a chef.
Its called Chef’s Wife.
If I could go back to when I was in high school, I would be like, It was so fun.
The movie is so good.
The chef is so funny.
I just love this guy.
I love him.
And because I was a big fan of his, he became a favorite.
So thatd be the dream job.
That would be the first dream job for me that I ever had.
