A chef consultant and chef rush expert from Boston’s elite Pizzeria Pizzaria is going viral, after posting a video on Facebook that explains how to be successful in the restaurant industry.
In it, Michael Gershoff talks about how he has made it as a restaurant consultant and why he believes there are more jobs for chefs than ever before.
“It’s hard, but I’ve learned to do it,” Gersoff says in the video, which has been viewed more than 6 million times.
“There’s a lot of pressure, and there’s a big market for them and I’m excited to be here.”
Gerson’s new book, How to Get a Job in the Fast-Casual Restaurant Industry: An Expert’s Guide to the Food Industry, was published last month and is now available for purchase.
The book is a guide for chefs looking to jump into the restaurant business.
The video was released on November 17, and it shows Gersons passion for cooking and how he feels a lot more pressure now than he did in the past.
“I love cooking.
I love being on camera.
I’m always in the kitchen, and I love to cook,” he said.
Gersson also says that he wants to do more in the future to help other people become successful chefs.
“We’re all a bunch of entrepreneurs now,” he says in his video.

It also explains how the industry is changing fast.
“The number of people who are coming into the industry and making a career out of it is actually a very small number compared to the number of businesses that have been formed around it, so there’s going to be more opportunities,” Gerson says.
The restaurant industry in Australia is expected to hit a record $2.9 billion in the next six months, according to the Australian Restaurant and Foodservice Association.
This is up from $1.9bn in 2014, according the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Gerson also says there’s no such thing as a perfect career path.
“People are going to do what they want,” he explains.
“A lot of them do what’s the most fun and they go through a lot, and then they’re done.”
He also said that the fast food industry is going through an exciting period, with the introduction of fast-food burgers and chicken wings.
“When we were at Pizzarato we were the youngest restaurant on the planet,” he explained.
“Now, you can get a burger and a chicken wing for about the same price.
And the food is better.”
With more people working in the industry, and the number in the workforce growing by about 10 per cent per year, Gersoll said there’s more demand for those skills.
“Our generation has always done things differently, and they’ve always taken risks,” he added.
