New York, NY—July 18, 2017—The New York Times Magazine, the largest-selling food and beverage brand in the United States, has announced that it will bring China’s signature cuisine to Fox News channels America, starting with a special “China Cookbook” on Tuesday, July 24.
The book, based on the acclaimed bestseller by chef Yang Chen, will be the first in-depth look at Chinese cuisine from China, the world’s largest economy.
“As a Chinese American myself, I was thrilled to hear that the New York City Times Magazine is partnering with Fox News to bring to life this region’s culinary scene, as well as the unique food culture of this country,” said Jennifer Boudreau, senior editor-in-chief of the New England-based magazine.

The “China Chef” book, which will be published in English by Penguin Random House, is a companion book to the “China Cooking” series on Fox News that airs every Monday.
It will also include information about cooking techniques and cooking techniques from around the world.
“China is a melting pot of cuisine and culture that has become a cultural hotbed for us,” said Andy Chang, editor-at-large of the Times Magazine.
“We look forward to bringing the best of both worlds to Fox.”
In addition to the New Yorker series, Fox News has also announced that the “Chinese Kitchen” on Fox Business Network will feature recipes and tips for Chinese-American cuisine, along with news about new restaurants in New York and Washington, D.C.
The “China” series is a collaboration between Fox News, New York-based cooking magazine, and Fox Business.
“China is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, and we want to explore how it can best be served by American consumers,” said Roger Ailes, chairman and chief executive of Fox News.
“To that end, we will be launching a series of exclusive cookbooks for readers, starting on Tuesday and continuing throughout the month of July.”
In September, Fox Business announced that they were partnering with China’s biggest restaurant chain, Huairou, to produce the “Global Chinese Kitchen” series, which includes recipes from China’s most popular restaurants and cooking school.
“The ‘Global Chinese’ series will showcase the best ingredients from China in a series that will highlight the best recipes from around China, and feature the best Chinese ingredients from the best kitchens in China,” said Gary Zhang, chief executive officer of Huairos.
“This collaboration with Fox Business will be an amazing addition to our menu of culinary inspiration, and will be one of our biggest accomplishments in the past year.”

The China Cooking series will air on the Fox Business channel at 9 p.m.
ET Tuesday, Monday through Friday.
The “Chinese Cookbook,” which features the first-ever cookbook from the world-renowned chef Yang, will air at 9:30 p.pm.
The Fox News channel is also launching a new weekly cooking show called “Cooking with China.”
In addition to “China,” the show will feature new recipes from restaurants in Los Angeles, New Orleans, Washington, Washington DC, Los Angeles and New York.
