But it’s hard to pick just one, and many are highly regarded chefs with their own distinct styles.
This is because TOCs can cook as many different dishes as they like, and they can also be experienced cooks with decades of experience.
These chefs are also often well known, but don’t have to be.
In fact, there are no top chefs that don’t cook, or that are just too good to be true.
You can tell when a TOC is really good by the number of chefs they’ve won an award for.
It’s rare to see a TAC, and that’s probably because they’re so well-respected.

What’s the deal with the cook’s sidekick job?
As well as being recognised as the cook, a Toc can also make a name for themselves by cooking up a unique dish on the side.
Sometimes it can be an unexpected dish, such as the chocolate chip cookie dough dough pizza.
Other times, the dish might be the result of a simple trick.
For instance, Julia Child won a Michelin star in 2012 for her doughnut recipe with the help of a side of flour, butter and cocoa powder.
However, that was a special achievement for a woman who was born and raised in Sydney, Australia.
How do TOC’s cook skills compare to the chefs in Australia?
While TOC are probably the most well known sidekicked chefs in their own right, the majority of TOC chefs have won awards for their cooking skills.
Top chefs like Matthew Bessner, James Dyson and Craig Smith are all TOC members.
They’re all recognised by the industry, but not everyone is.
As such, some TOC aren’t recognised for their skills.
They’re more known for their personalities, and have won the accolades of some of Australia’s leading chefs.

Which is better: The kitchen or the cook?
If cooking is a career, then the kitchen is where you make the food, while the cook is where the food is cooked.
With this in mind, it makes sense that the top TOC have the skills needed to cook the best food.
And there’s a clear distinction between the two.
Both cooks have the expertise to cook in a way that looks good on the plate, but also make the final product taste good.
Food is more than just what comes out of the plate.
TOCs are often considered the best cooks because they can do things that the rest of the kitchen can’t do, and it’s their cooking that makes their dishes unique.
Whether it’s making a dish that looks fresh, or using fresh ingredients to create something unique, they can cook dishes that can only be made by the top cook.
Why do some Tocs become chefs?
Although it’s a very specific career path, some of our TOC also become successful chefs, either through apprenticeships or by joining the ranks of established chefs.
TOC apprenticeships offer the chance to learn a new skill or a skill that you may not have considered possible before.
